At Life Church we are Bringing Life to Every Community and that includes the student community of Southampton – join us on the adventure!
As a student at Life Church you’ll be part of a community that genuinely cares about people. We want to see students in Southampton live out their God given calling as followers of Jesus and their unique calling as students, with all the great opportunities that student life brings.
Sundays
On Sundays, we meet at King Edward VI School off Hill Lane by the common.
On Sundays – we gather as a church to do all the things that churches do when they gather. You’ll find our meetings are modern and pretty informal, with a big focus on being a genuine community, worshiping God, teaching from the bible and living that out empowered by the Spirit.
Most weeks, you will also get a chance to share a home cooked lunch with a family from Life Church and a few fellow students. These lunches are great opportunities to not only have a little taste of home, but to really connect with one another and build deep community.
We also meet in Life Groups across the city throughout the week and you’re sure to find one that fits for you.
There are all sorts of ministries to get stuck into or serve in as we live out our vision for Bringing Life To Every Community and the student community is a massive part of what makes Southampton the incredible city it is.
Starting Uni?
As you arrive and settle into the new term, we would love to support you. One way we will be doing this is through our Student Connect lunches.
These will be on 20.09, 27.09, 4.10 and 11.10 straight after church at King Edward VI School.
A Student Connect lunch is the perfect place to get a sense of what we are all about as Life Church, as well as to meet some of our leaders, other students who may be new to life church and current students who have already made Life Church home.
We would love to see you at one or more of these lunches when term begins!
