Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is an award winning, national debt counselling charity offering free help and advice through a network of debt centres based in the local church. CAP offers hope and a solution to people in debt through its top-quality, in-depth service as well as financial education through the CAP Money Course.
Life Church have partnered with Christians Against Poverty and opened a new debt centre covering Southampton West.
Why a Debt Centre?
Debt is a huge issue in our city and our nation, blighting the lives of countless people. There are people drowning in debt, and we have the opportunity to show that we care, to offer a way out, and to show them Jesus. This came out of Life Church’s vision to rescue those who are drowning: drowning in sin, drowning in debt, and drowning in sickness. We are to be a lifeboat providing rescue.

Get Involved
Please pray that many people will be freed from debt and find Jesus too. Pray also for all the Southampton churches as we work together to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our city.
