Si Explains that this passage marks the start of a new section that describes three relationships that are impacted by this new way of living that he’s been teaching us about in this book of Ephesians. He starts, by looking at how the authority and submission of husbands and wives. He shows us that we are all made in the image of God, we hold equal worth, value and dignity. And that any authority we have is delegated and characterised by self-sacrificing service.
